SV	Daarom opschortende de lenden uws verstands, [en] nuchteren zijnde, hoopt volkomenlijk op de genade, die u toegebracht wordt in de openbaring van Jezus Christus.

ASV	Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
BE	So make your minds ready, and keep on the watch, hoping with all your power for the grace which is to come to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Darby	Wherefore, having girded up the loins of your mind, [be] sober [and] hope with perfect stedfastness in the grace [which will be] brought to you at [the] revelation of Jesus Christ;
ELB05	Deshalb umgürtet die Lenden eurer Gesinnung, seid nüchtern und hoffet völlig auf die Gnade, die euch gebracht wird bei der Offenbarung Jesu Christi;

Sch	Darum umgürtet die Lenden eures Gemütes, seid nüchtern und setzet eure Hoffnung ganz auf die Gnade, die euch dargeboten wird in der Offenbarung Jesu Christi.
Web	Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Weym	Therefore gird up your minds and fix your hopes calmly and unfalteringly upon the boon that is soon to be yours, at the re-appearing of Jesus Christ.
