In Attic writers, the mind, its operations and results (v. Edwards, Lex., App. (a) mind, understanding; (b) purpose, intention: Ac 20:3; (c) judgment, opinion: I Co 1:10, Re 17:13; (d) counsel, advice: I Co 7:25, 40 II Co 8:10, Phm 14; (e) royal purpose, decree (as in Da, I and II Es): Re 17:17 (Cremer, 671). †
