  poetry κεῖθεν (the only form used by Homerus Epicus, also in Trag. where metre requires) : Aeolic dialect κήνοθεν Alcaeus Lyricus 86 : Doric dialect τηνῶθεν Aristophanes Comicus “Acharnenses” 754 ; τηνῶθε Theocritus Poeta Bucolicus 3.10 :— adverb from that place, thence, opposed to ἐκεῖσε, Sophocles Tragicus “Philoctetes” 490, etc. ; of a person, τἀκεῖθεν εἰ ποθούμεθα on his part, prev. author “Tr.” 632; ὁ ἐ. ἄγγελος Plato Philosophus “Respublica” 619b; τὸ σκῆπτρον ἐ. παραλαβόντες Julianus Imperator “Orationes” 6.181b.
