   NT.Mark.5.35 , aorist ἔσκῡλα Herodianus Grammaticus (see. below) :—passive, see below; aorist ἐσκύλθην 1Eustathius Episcopus Thessalonicensis 769.41, 1516.57 ; also ἐσκύλην ῠ (see. below): perfect ἔσκυλμαι (see. below):—= τοῖς ὄνυξι σπᾶν, 5th c.AD(?): Hesychius Legal icographus; aorist infinitive σκοῦλαι (perhaps Laconian dialect),= κνῆσαι , prev. author: —passive, σκύλλονται, of dead bodies torn by fish, Aeschylus Tragicus “Persae” 577 (Lyric poetry); ἔσκυλται.. κίκιννος is dishevelled, Anthologia Graeca 5.174 (Meleager Epigrammaticus); ἔσκυλται δὲ κόμη prev. work 258 (Paul. Sil.).
